  • Description

Bask in the beauty of our pure, ocean-friendly sunscreen formula providing broad spectrum SPF50 UVA/UVB protection with zinc oxide. This moisturising, age-defying sunscreen effortlessly glides onto the skin easily and is enriched with Vitamin E and Rosehip Oil to nourish the skin and provide a hydration boost. Basking Beauty is the ultimate plant-based, botanical and luxurious sunscreen.

    Key Actives

Zinc Oxide: provides physical broad spectrum sun protection without the skin irritation or hormone disruption found in chemical sunscreens. Camellia Seed Oil: a light-weight phyto active oil abundant in fatty acids to calm and hydrate skin.
Vitamin E: potent antioxidant, assisting with the reduction of redness and oxidative stress within the skin.

This product is packaged in recyclable “bioplastic” tubes made from sugar cane resin.

If you are used to using conventional chemical formulas, you may notice this natural sunscreen differs as it does rely on creating a physical barrier on top of the skin to protect you from UV rays. As a result it takes a little more time to massage into the skin, however, we believe doing this is well worth the benefits of non-toxic sun protection. If you are interested in the dangers of chemical sunscreens, read here.

Beach Day Must-Have!

We brought the Edible Beauty Basking Beauty Natural Sunscreen SPF 50 with us to La Union, Philippines, and it was perfect for the strong beach sun! It’s thick enough to really protect your skin, but still feels nice and smooth. It stayed on even after swimming, and I love the natural scent—so fresh and not overpowering. Plus, it’s reef-friendly, which makes it even better. Definitely bringing this on every beach trip from now on!

Hi there Mary! We are so happy to hear that you enjoyed our Basking Beauty Natural Sunscreen during your beach day in La Union. Daily walker’s silky new best friend

As a daily walker, I am enjoying wearing this natural sunscreen feeling guilt free about sweating and having chemicals mess up my hormones and health. It is a nice thick enough consistency so you feel like you’re protected and yet it goes on silkier than any sunscreen I’ve ever owned (including the super thin/watery ones). Thanks for helping us all move towards healthier daily skincare.

Thank you for choosing our Basking Beauty Natural Sunscreen SPF50 for your daily walks! We are thrilled to hear that you are enjoying the guilt-free protection and silky feel of our sunscreen. We are committed to providing natural and healthy skincare options, so we are happy to know that it has been a perfect fit for your lifestyle. Keep glowing and protected!

For the beach or outside

I’m happy to used for everyday but when I have been to the beach I apply sunscreen on the top of the sunscreen which was over 3hours from the first application, didn’t know for a while that my face was looking like a white marble. I hope you could produce little lighter for future that I could apply as much as possible for needs.

Thank you for your feedback on our Basking Beauty Natural Sunscreen SPF50. We apologize for any inconvenience caused by the white cast that may have occurred after reapplying the sunscreen. We are continuously working to improve our products and will take your suggestion for a lighter formula into consideration for future development. In the meantime, we recommend blending the sunscreen in well and using a smaller amount for a more seamless application. Thank you for your support and we hope you continue to enjoy our sunscreen.

One and only for me

I put too much cream on first use and wasn't sold on it. But now! I found a little goes a long way and absolutely love it for its natural sunscreen and fabulous last step moisturising on my 63 year old skin. I just use a little natural BB cream and bam I'm done. It took a few tries to get use to it and now am so pleased at no more dry flakes on my skin and a lovely glow that does blur the wrinkles.

Hi there! We're so glad to hear that you're loving our Basking Beauty Natural Sunscreen! We agree, a little goes a long way and we're happy to hear that it's working well for your skin. Thank you for giving it a chance and we're thrilled that it's providing both sun protection and moisturization for your beautiful 63 year old skin. Keep on glowing!
